31 Mar WPGC Ladies Meet & Greet
The WPGC Ladies Meet and Greet held on Sunday, 29 March proved to be a resounding success, bringing together members and guests for an enjoyable and engaging afternoon. With a strong turnout and a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout, the event provided the ideal opportunity to foster connections and celebrate the vibrant community within the club.
Set against the backdrop of sweeping views across the course, the venue created a relaxed and inviting environment for attendees. The focus of the afternoon was on building relationships, allowing participants to reconnect with familiar faces while also extending a warm welcome to new members. This blend of long-standing participants and newcomers contributed to a genuine sense of inclusivity and camaraderie that continues to define the WPGC Ladies group.
Although the event was not centred around play, it was particularly encouraging to see so many regular players come together off the course. The strong attendance highlights the enthusiasm and commitment within the group, setting a positive tone for the many rounds and activities scheduled in the months ahead. Events such as this reinforce the importance of community engagement and provide a valuable platform for strengthening bonds among members.
The continued involvement of the club’s female members is a testament to the supportive and inclusive culture being cultivated. This environment not only enhances the overall club experience but also encourages participation from women of all backgrounds and skill levels.
Opportunities remain available for those interested in joining the Ladies six-month membership program, running from April through to September 2026. This offering includes a seven-day social membership, four group lessons with the club’s resident golf professional, and access to regular Sunday social events. It is designed to provide a welcoming entry point for those looking to learn the game, improve their skills, or simply connect with like-minded individuals in a relaxed setting. No prior experience is required to participate.
For further information, interested individuals are encouraged to contact the club directly on 07 3271 4057 or email admin@wpgc.com.au for more information. The club extends its sincere appreciation to all who attended the Meet and Greet and looks forward to welcoming everyone back on the course in the near future.
